Allesandra Cionco, native of Roseville, California, is a performer and arts administrator based in Boston. A versatile performer, Allesandra’s repertoire spans from opera and chamber music, to liturgical and choral works. She has appeared on stages across Boston in productions with Boston Opera Collaborative and New England Conservatory. Favorite roles include Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel, Sophie in Les Lettres de Werther (a reimagined production of Massenet’s Werther), Diana in Orpheus in the Underworld, Emmie in Albert Herring. Her upcoming engagements include Cecile in the Boston premiere of The Dangerous Liaisons with Boston Opera Collaborative.
Allesandra is an avid performer of concert and liturgical repertoire. She is a cantor and soprano section leader at St. Cecilia’s Parish in Boston, where she has performed as the soprano soloist in Faure’s Requiem, Rutter’s Requiem, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
Allesandra holds a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory, where she currently acts as Assistant Dean of Campus Life. She has been a roster member of Boston Opera Collaborative since 2010, where she spent 3 seasons as Director of Internal Operations and now serves as their Managing Director.
